Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of LDPWorkshop, including ldpworkshop.com and related services, features, content, and applications (collectively, the “Service”). The Service is operated by Next4 Enterprises LLC, doing business as LDPWorkshop (“LDPWorkshop,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
Please read these Terms carefully. By creating an account, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use account-only features of the Service.
1. The Service
LDPWorkshop is a community platform for documenting, researching, sharing, and discussing long-distance-pumping, longboarding, skateboarding, land-paddling, and related equipment and setups. The Service may include community-maintained parts information, user profiles, setups, photographs, reviews, following relationships, feeds, comparison tools, and other features.
The Service is offered on a beta basis. Features may be incomplete, contain errors, change without notice, or be unavailable from time to time. We may add, modify, restrict, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, subject to applicable law and any notice commitments stated in these Terms.
2. Account registration and security
You must provide accurate, current information when creating and maintaining an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity occurring through your account, except to the extent caused by our breach of applicable obligations.
You may not impersonate another person or entity, misrepresent your affiliation, create an account for someone else without authorization, transfer your account without our permission, or use the Service after we have suspended or terminated you unless we expressly authorize it.
If you believe your account has been compromised, contact support@ldpworkshop.com promptly.
3. Age eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, submit User Content, or otherwise provide personal information through LDPWorkshop. Public pages may be viewable without an account.
When you create an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. We also ask you to provide your year of birth as part of our age-screening process. If the information you provide during account setup does not establish that you are eligible to use LDPWorkshop, we will not complete your account registration. Any temporary registration record created before the eligibility screen is completed will be deleted or disabled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
If we learn that an account holder is under 18, we will suspend or terminate the account and delete or deidentify associated personal data, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, and recordkeeping requirements described in our Privacy Policy.
Users under 13 may not create an account or otherwise submit personal information through LDPWorkshop. Limited information entered into our age screen is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Safety, equipment, and activity risks
Longboarding, skateboarding, land paddling, and related activities involve inherent risks of serious personal injury, property damage, or death. If you participate in these activities or use equipment described on LDPWorkshop, you understand that those activities involve inherent risks.
Equipment information
The parts catalog, user setups, community reviews, and all other content on LDPWorkshop are provided for general informational purposes only. LDPWorkshop does not inspect, test, certify, endorse, or warrant any product, setup, component combination, or configuration.
Catalog specifications and user-entered data may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for your particular use. You may use the Service as one source of general information, but you must independently verify information that could affect equipment compatibility, structural integrity, braking, steering, rider safety, or legal compliance.
Component modification
Cutting, drilling, wedging, bending, modifying, or combining components outside manufacturer specifications may weaken equipment or create unexpected steering or structural behavior. This applies particularly to brackets, custom hardware, altered truck angles, modified decks, prototype parts, and user-manufactured components.
Before riding modified or custom equipment, independently assess the configuration. Where the potential consequences of failure are significant — particularly for structural, steering, or braking components — consult the manufacturer or an appropriately experienced and qualified person.
Your responsibility
Before using any equipment configuration, you should independently verify compatibility and installation requirements; check recalls, safety notices, and current manufacturer instructions; comply with applicable laws; inspect and maintain your equipment; and use appropriate protective equipment, including helmets and pads.
Nothing on LDPWorkshop constitutes professional engineering advice, safety certification, medical advice, or legal advice. Do not rely on community content as a substitute for professional guidance on safety-critical decisions.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LDPWorkshop and its operators are not liable for injury, death, property damage, or other loss arising from reliance on content found through the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability arising from fraud, willful misconduct, or gross negligence where applicable law prohibits such exclusion.
5. Acceptable use
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, court order, or third-party right;
- Harass, threaten, abuse, defame, stalk, or intimidate another person;
- Impersonate another person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation;
- Interfere with, disrupt, overload, damage, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems;
- Probe, scan, or test a system vulnerability without our written permission;
- Introduce malware, malicious code, or other harmful material;
- Use the Service to send spam, unsolicited advertising, or deceptive communications;
- Manipulate ratings, reviews, follows, engagement, or community activity;
- Use multiple accounts to evade restrictions, moderation, or enforcement;
- Access the Service or its data by automated means except as expressly permitted in Section 9; or
- Knowingly submit materially false, misleading, duplicative, harassing, or abusive moderation, catalog, or safety reports. Copyright notices and counter-notifications are separately subject to the standards in Section 12. Good-faith reports are not prohibited merely because they are not substantiated.
6. User Content and community conduct
Your content
The Service allows you to submit content including reviews, photos, setup descriptions, profile information, usernames, comments, and catalog contributions (collectively, “User Content”). You retain any ownership rights you have in your User Content.
You are responsible for your User Content and represent that you have all rights necessary to submit it, that it does not violate these Terms or applicable law, and that it does not contain confidential or private information belonging to another person that you are not authorized to disclose.
License to LDPWorkshop
By submitting User Content, you grant LDPWorkshop a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, resize, optimize, moderate, distribute within, and improve LDPWorkshop solely to operate, provide, secure, and improve the Service.
For User Content you designate as public, this license also permits us to feature that content on our own website, social-media accounts, and email communications, with attribution where reasonably practicable. We will obtain additional permission before using identifiable User Content in paid advertisements or sponsored placements, except where it appears incidentally in an image of the Service interface.
This license ends when you delete your content, subject to:
- Technical processing delays of up to 30 days in active systems;
- Temporary retention in backup systems until overwritten under our standard backup cycle, during which the content will not be restored to ordinary public use except where necessary for disaster recovery, security, or legal compliance;
- Content incorporated into another user’s content before deletion where removal would materially impair that content;
- Legal holds or compliance requirements; and
- Factual catalog contributions as described below.
Catalog contributions
Factual contributions to the parts catalog, including measurements, specifications, classifications, and corrections, may be retained after account deletion to preserve catalog accuracy. We may deidentify those contributions from your account.
Content restrictions
User Content must not:
- Violate any applicable law or third-party right;
- Be defamatory, harassing, threatening, abusive, or unlawfully discriminatory;
- Contain child sexual abuse material or sexually exploit minors in any form;
- Contain nudity, sexual content, gratuitous graphic violence, or content primarily intended to shock or harm; photos documenting equipment damage or safety incidents are not prohibited merely for that reason;
- Provide instructions or credible encouragement of violence against a specific person or group;
- Include malicious code or content designed to compromise another user’s device, account, or data;
- Disclose another person’s private or sensitive personal information without authorization;
- Invade another person’s privacy or publicity rights, including by posting identifiable images where you lack a lawful basis or appropriate permission to share them;
- Infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other intellectual-property rights;
- Constitute fraudulent product listings, knowingly false or misleading claims about a product’s authenticity, spam, unsolicited advertising, or coordinated inauthentic behavior;
- Be designed to evade moderation or enforcement; or
- Present knowingly false, materially misleading, or recklessly unsupported equipment information as verified safety guidance where reliance could create a substantial risk of injury or property damage.
Reviews
Reviews must reflect your honest, genuine opinion based on your own experience. You must clearly disclose any free product, discount, sponsorship, employment, ownership interest, affiliate relationship, or other material connection that could affect your review.
You may not submit a review on behalf of another person, coordinate deceptive reviews, condition compensation on a particular rating, or use multiple accounts to influence ratings.
Where we reasonably suspect manipulation, we may temporarily exclude a review from aggregate scoring, restrict its visibility, request additional disclosure, or add a neutral notice indicating that the review is not currently included in the aggregate rating while it is under review. We will not publicly label a review as manipulated without a process supporting that conclusion.
Reviews reflect individual user opinions, not those of LDPWorkshop. We do not guarantee the accuracy of reviews and are not responsible for opinions expressed by users, except as required by law.
Moderation
We may review, restrict, hide, remove, preserve, or restore User Content when we reasonably believe it violates these Terms, creates risk to users or third parties, interferes with the Service, is subject to a legal request, or is otherwise inappropriate for the community.
We may act in error, and we do not guarantee that all objectionable content will be identified or removed. Submission does not guarantee that content will be published, remain available, appear in a particular order, or be included in ratings or recommendations.
You may request review of a moderation decision by contacting moderation@ldpworkshop.com. We do not guarantee reversal or a particular response time except where required by law.
Reviews after account deletion
Public reviews remaining when you delete your account are deidentified from your account: your username, profile link, account identifier, and other account-level attribution are removed, while the review text and rating are retained. You may delete individual reviews before requesting account deletion.
If retained review text continues to identify you after account deletion, you may contact privacy@ldpworkshop.com to request further deidentification or deletion where required by applicable law.
7. Catalog accuracy, manufacturer relationships, and trademarks
The parts catalog is a community-maintained database. We make reasonable efforts to support accuracy but do not guarantee that catalog information is complete, current, or error-free.
Product names, brand names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Listing a product does not imply endorsement by, affiliation with, or sponsorship by the manufacturer or brand. LDPWorkshop is not affiliated with any manufacturer or brand listed in the catalog unless expressly stated.
Manufacturer specifications may change without notice. Regional product variations, counterfeit products, prototype components, custom products, and modified products may differ from catalog listings. Listed component combinations are not warranted as compatible.
Documented factual corrections submitted by manufacturers or brands may update catalog specifications but do not entitle the submitting party to edit, suppress, or remove independent user reviews or opinions.
If you believe catalog information is inaccurate, contact catalog@ldpworkshop.com. To report a safety concern, recall, structural failure, dangerous incompatibility, or dangerous catalog listing, contact safety@ldpworkshop.com.
We determine whether and how to review reports based on the information available, apparent severity, reliability of the source, and our operational capacity. We do not guarantee that every report will result in investigation or action. We will triage documented manufacturer recall notices promptly.
We may add warnings, restrict visibility, or temporarily remove catalog entries while evaluating a reported safety issue or recall.
8. LDPWorkshop intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, original text, graphics, interfaces, classifications, and protectable elements of the catalog, is owned by or licensed to LDPWorkshop and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Except for rights held by manufacturers, users, or other third parties, we own the original selection, coordination, arrangement, descriptions, classifications, and other protectable elements of the parts catalog. Individual facts, measurements, and manufacturer specifications may not be owned by us, and we make no claim to them.
These Terms do not grant you any ownership interest in the Service. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, nontransferable, revocable right to access and use the Service for its intended purposes.
9. Automated access and data use
Except with our prior written permission, you may not, directly, indirectly, through a third party, or by automated means:
- Scrape, crawl, harvest, index, or systematically extract data or content from the Service, whether accessed with or without an account;
- Use data or content from the Service to train, fine-tune, validate, test, develop, or improve any machine-learning model, artificial-intelligence system, large language model, or similar technology;
- Copy, cache, archive, or create derivative databases or datasets from Service content, including the parts catalog, profiles, setups, photographs, and reviews;
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with technical measures used to control access, including rate limits, authentication requirements, robots.txt directives, and anti-automation measures; or
- Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or otherwise make Service data available to a third party.
Any permission we grant for automated access is limited, nontransferable, revocable, and subject to any additional written conditions we specify.
We may suspend or block automated access, revoke permission, and pursue available legal remedies for violations. Requests for approved research, indexing, integration, or commercial data access may be submitted to data@ldpworkshop.com.
Limited exception: standard search-engine crawling of pages we designate as indexable in our robots.txt file is permitted solely to create search results that direct users to LDPWorkshop, and not to develop datasets, substitute summaries, or machine-learning systems.
10. Third-party products, services, and links
The Service may refer or link to third-party products, manufacturers, retailers, websites, resources, or services. We do not control and are not responsible for them. A reference or link does not constitute endorsement. Your dealings with third parties are between you and the third party and may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies.
11. Paid plans and billing
LDPWorkshop is currently offered free of charge during its beta period. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans, subscription tiers, or feature-based pricing in the future.
If paid plans are introduced:
- We will notify you when reasonably practicable before a change that materially reduces your access to features you currently use. Advance notice may not be provided when reasonably necessary to address urgent security, legal, fraud-prevention, service-integrity, or technical requirements;
- The applicable price, renewal terms, cancellation procedure, refund policy, and other billing terms will be disclosed before purchase;
- Additional terms presented at purchase will form part of these Terms; and
- Payments will be processed through a third-party payment processor.
Nothing in these Terms entitles you to continued free access to any feature.
12. Copyright notices and counter-notifications
LDPWorkshop responds to valid copyright infringement notices in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512. We have registered a designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office.

Copyright infringement notice
To submit a copyright infringement notice, send a written statement to our designated agent including:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location on the Service, including a URL or sufficient description;
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address;
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf; and
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We will remove or disable access to material that is the subject of a valid notice and notify the affected user.
Privacy notice for counter-notifications
By submitting a counter-notification, you understand that we will send a copy — including the contact information it contains — to the person who submitted the original copyright notice. Submit a counter-notification only if you are comfortable with that disclosure.
Counter-notification
If you believe your material was removed through mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification including:
- Identification of the removed material and its former location on the Service;
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification;
- Your name, mailing address, and telephone number;
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located — or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which LDPWorkshop may be found — and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original infringement notice or that person’s agent; and
- Your physical or electronic signature.
After receiving a valid counter-notification, we will provide a copy to the person who submitted the original notice. We may restore the removed material not less than 10 and not more than 14 business days after receiving the counter-notification unless our designated agent first receives notice that the original claimant has filed a court action seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity.
Submitting a notice or counter-notification containing materially false information may result in liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
We will terminate the accounts of users determined to be repeat copyright infringers in appropriate circumstances, consistent with applicable law.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access when we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure, infringed third-party rights, compromised Service security or integrity, or when suspension is otherwise reasonably necessary to protect users, LDPWorkshop, or third parties.
Where reasonably practicable, we may provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue. We may act without advance notice where immediate action is reasonably necessary for security, safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or protection of others.
Upon termination, provisions that by their nature should survive will survive, including provisions concerning User Content already lawfully retained, catalog contributions, automated access, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, dispute provisions, and legal notices.
14. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LDPWORKSHOP DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, COMPATIBILITY, SAFETY, AVAILABILITY, AND SECURITY.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS; THAT CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE OR CURRENT; THAT DATA WILL NOT BE LOST; OR THAT ANY PRODUCT, COMPONENT, SETUP, OR CONFIGURATION WILL BE SAFE OR COMPATIBLE.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some exclusions may not apply to you.
15. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LDPWORKSHOP, NEXT4 ENTERPRISES LLC, AND THEIR OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AFFILIATES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, USE, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO LDPWORKSHOP DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY; OR (B) US $100.
These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Rights available under mandatory consumer-protection law remain unaffected.
16. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LDPWorkshop, Next4 Enterprises LLC, and their owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and agents from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Service, your material violation of these Terms, or User Content that infringes or violates another person’s rights.
This section does not require a consumer to indemnify LDPWorkshop for LDPWorkshop’s own negligence, willful misconduct, or violation of law, and applies only to the extent enforceable under applicable law.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Unless applicable law requires otherwise, disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York, and you and LDPWorkshop consent to their jurisdiction and venue.
If you are a consumer residing outside the United States, this section does not deprive you of mandatory protections or jurisdictional rights available under the laws of your country of residence.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For changes that materially affect your rights or obligations, we will notify you by email or in-app notice and, where required, request renewed agreement before the changes take effect.
When we request affirmative acceptance of a material change, the revised Terms will not apply to your account until you accept them, except where otherwise required by law. For non-material changes, continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
If you do not agree to revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and may request account deletion. We may make prior versions available through the Service or upon request.
19. Legal notices
Formal contractual notices to LDPWorkshop should be sent to legal@ldpworkshop.com and to the mailing address listed in Section 12.
We may send notices to you at the email address associated with your account or through the Service. Notices are considered delivered when sent or posted, except where applicable law requires a different method or timing.
20. General terms
These Terms, together with incorporated policies and any additional terms presented for a specific feature or purchase, form the entire agreement between you and LDPWorkshop regarding the Service.
If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the remaining provisions will remain effective. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, or transfer of the Service, subject to applicable law.
Section headings are for convenience only. The words “including” and “include” mean “including without limitation.”
